I have a sacrum tumor, what kind of surgery can I have?

In this type of surgery, it may be necessary to remove some of the nerves inside the tumor along with the tumor. The decision for surgery is usually made based on the histopathological type of the tumor, its location, its size, the degree of nerve involvement and the general condition of the patient.

What can my quality of life be like after sacrum tumor surgery?

I have a Tarlov cyst, when should I have surgery?

Tarlov cysts are cysts that are usually located within the sacrum bone and are often seen more than one. It is usually encountered incidentally on lumbar MRI images. However, some people may experience symptoms such as perineal pain, leg pain, urinary incontinence, and loss of sensation in the perineum. If it can be shown that these findings of the patients are related to the Tarlov cyst, surgery may be considered.
